Eke Panuku.

Rebranding for Urban Regeneration in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Eke Panuku Development Auckland is the council-controlled organisation responsible for leading urban regeneration across Tāmaki Makaurau. Our challenge was to rebrand this sub-brand, giving it a unique identity while ensuring it stayed connected to the broader Auckland Council visual identity.

The results.

We developed a brand design strategy that preserved Eke Panuku’s distinct identity while maintaining visual alignment with the Auckland Council master brand. By incorporating key elements like the council's color palette and typography, we ensured cohesion across the sub-brands. The new logo reflects Eke Panuku’s mission of urban regeneration and community building, symbolizing unity and collaboration. The brand’s design features a fluid grid system, allowing for flexible use of imagery and text, mirroring the evolving and dynamic nature of urban development.

This refreshed identity underscores Eke Panuku's commitment to revitalizing communities, while seamlessly aligning with the broader council brand.
