In this engaging film, Hibiscus and her no-nonsense friend Ruth have been inseparable since school. As Hibiscus nears graduation, her domineering mother imposes restrictions, insisting that boyfriends shouldn't distract her. To navigate these temptations, Hibiscus turns to Ruth for support. The goal was to develop a compelling brand that resonates with youth and university students, reflecting the relatable struggles and experiences of university life.

The results.

We crafted a brand that captures the essence of university life by blending authenticity with aspirational elements. Using bright, vibrant colors and dynamic photography, we aimed to create a strong connection with our target audience. The logo features a handcrafted design that resembles doodles and class notes, evoking the playful spirit of student life.

The bright-coloured backgrounds reflect the film’s humorous tone and youthful energy, encapsulating the ups and downs of the university experience. This branding not only appeals to the target demographic but also fosters a sense of camaraderie and relatability, inviting audiences to join Hibiscus and Ruth on their journey through friendship and self-discovery.
